Chloé first started climbing when she was 8 years old and started entering competitions 3 years later. Now, at the age of 15 she has climbed French 8a on rock, is a podium regular for both youth and senior competitions in Belgium and came 9th in the European Youth Boulder Cup in Munich last year. We expect to see much more impressive stuff- go Chloé!
Only 17 years young, Loïc has 12 years of climbing experience and has already been competing for 9 years. He has climbed French 8c+ and has an impressive list of international victories on his name, highlights of which are a 1st place at the European Youth Cup in Kranj and a 3rd place at the World Youth Cup in Imst last year. We can't wait to see what great things this year has in store for him!
Tom and his girlfriend Lynne made the every climber's dream come true and are living in a camper van in sunny Spain where their main occupation is climbing.
In his own words: "The Lleida area really has become a second home to me, the people, the food and wine are all truly great and have been sorely missed these last couple of months. The amount of rock and world class routes to go at is insane. The room for further development is just as incredible."
Based at the Calshot Activities Centre near Southampton the club runs regular training sessions. Each session consists of a number of training and practice activities to improve fitness, skill and strength.
The club caters for all levels of climbing ability and every member has their own training profile and log. Improvement is the common goal and this will be measured by the staff and coaches with a view to competing in both local and national climbing events.
